The Agile Marketing Gap - How do you define the right minimal viable product and bring it to market quickly in a very competitive market where your consumers have high expectations? How do you plan and execute marketing, media and creative concepts for channels that take a long prep time (e.g. video / TV) while the product itself is constantly evolving?

        • Pricing strategies and tricks

Setting a right price is extremely important. Very often a subtle price difference is a question of death or life for your product.
I suggest to discuss what approaches can be applied to pricing and talk about such interesting stuff as price discrimination, bundles, versioning.

          • Product and project management in small organisations

What are the pitfalls, trials and tribulations of product and project management in a small organisation (by which I mean 30 and less)? When one person is often a BA, PM, QA and god knows what else all in one, how do you cope?

Lets have a round table discussion and nut out some thoughts.

            • Product Managers Book Club

This is a session to talk about (all) the cool books out there that are worth a read. There is a lot to pile up on the bedside table and never enough time so it would be great to share some recommendations from the community as to what is worth putting on the pile. I would certainly start by singing the praises of Seth Godin's The Icarus Deception and the other I still refer to is Switch: How to change things when change is hard. Anyway the list could go on, if you would like to hear about why these…

              • The Agile Business Gap

The Agile Business Gap describes the methodology gap that exists between the origins of an idea or a market insight and the creation of an initial (and ongoing) product backlog of user stories.

At its core the Agile approaches that we see are software development focused and in most cases anything that is beyond the boundaries of the Product Backlog and a release is largely ignored by any of the Agile methodologies.
The Agile Business Gap describes a way of capturing the strategic and market intent of an idea, collaborate with larger specialist developer and non-developer teams, and then generating…

                  • Roundtable discussion: "Why should I listen to YOU?"

For a product manager, influence is key and there are many people to influence. How do you foster your own credibility? Where does your authority come from? What should you do? What should you avoid?
